Product Roadmap

Below is a working product roadmap that broadly describes the path to complete platform launch. This roadmap excludes marketing and commercial partnership endeavours that are separately underway.

Protocol Design & Development

Complete
In this phase we'll design the core protocol design and develop backend smart contracts. Backtesting will be used to determine launch configuration parameters based on modeled performance.

Security Audits & Web App Development

Active Process
In this phase we'll conduct internal security audits and queue external security audits. Additionally we'll design and develop the user facing web application.

Testnet — Data Gathering

Active Process
In this phase we'll deploy contracts to testnet, connecting the web application to testnet backend, and run through all user flows.

Additionally, we'll be executing a simple market making script that reacts to underlying cbBTC volatility to simulate efficient market conditions and trades. Using the data gathered we'll:

1. Benchmark leverage multiplier stability
2. Evaluate configuration settings
3. Evaluate volatility drag
4. Adjust accordingly

We'll proceed to mainnet once the performance data passes.

Mainnet — Capped Liquidity

In this phase we'll deploy contracts to mainnet with capped liquidity. The capped liquidity launch allows us to validate performance under live market conditions.

Analysis & Summary of Performance

In this phase we'll analyze and summarize the performance of the testnet and capped-liquidity mainnet launches. At this point we'll publish analyses comparing the performance of 2factor finance to that of modern day leveraged ETFs, detailing our methods.

Mainnet — Uncapped Liquidity

In this phase we'll lift the liquidity cap on mainnet and inject significant liquidity.

Governance
